Wimberley VFW Pro Rodeo – July 3–5, 2025

Experience the thrill of the Wimberley VFW Pro Rodeo, a cherished tradition celebrating its 79th year. Held at the Chester Franklin Arena on Jacobs Well Road, this CPRA-sanctioned event spans three nights—Thursday through Saturday—with gates opening at 5:30 p.m., Mutton Bustin’ at 7:00 p.m., and the main rodeo commencing at 8:00 p.m.​

Attendees can enjoy a variety of events, including bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback riding, barrel racing, team roping, and calf roping. The rodeo also features youth and adult calf scrambles, nightly fireworks (weather permitting), and performances by the Lone Star Cowgirls. Renowned Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame bullfighter Leon Coffee will entertain the crowd each night.​
