Reservation Deposit:
Reservations with Vacation Homes: The amount of the first night stay is required at the time of booking a comma after booking final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival date, if your final balance is not collected within three days of the due date a $25 late fee will be added to your reservation. If the final payment is not collected within five days of the initial due date, Wimberley Getaways reserves the right to cancel your reservation and the cancellation policy will apply.
Reservations with Messina Inn: Payment for your individual night stays are due in full upon check-in. Group Reservations are to be paid in full thirty days in advance.
Reservation Changes: You are welcome to add additional guests and additional nights to your stay at any time. However, once the final payment is collected you will not be able to decrease the number of guests or length of stay. We cannot refund any money should you decide to shorten your stay.
Cancellations of Reservations
Vacation Homes: If a reservation is cancelled; more than 30 days from check-in there is a 100% refund; 30 to 14 days from check-in there is a 50% refund. If reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival full payment of reservation is forfeited.
Messina Inn: Cancellations more than 14 days before check-in are fully refundable. Cancellations less than 14 days before check-in are charged a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 48 hours before check-in will be charged for one night.
Minimum Night Stay Policy: Typically, our properties will have a two-night minimum all year round except for the balcony wine suites and wine suites at Messina Inn which only require a one night.
Renters Responsibility: The renter’s failure to process a written confirmation of the reservation booking policy provided by Wimberley Getaways will be grounds for canceling the reservation with no refunds. This includes failure to locate the property, appearance of the property, and access to the property. If you do not receive a confirmation email it is your responsibility to contact us to obtain the necessary documents.
Stay Policies Check-in & Check-out: Bookings at Star Ranch and Hills Haven check-in time is 4 PM and check-out time is 11 AM a fee of $50 will be charged for any late departure not previously approved by a member of the Wimberley Getaways management contact us for further information.
For stays at Messina Inn; check-in is 3 PM and check out is 11 AM.
Late Check-in: The renter must make contact with one of our representatives before 6 PM on the day of the first night’s rental so that late check in arrangements can be made. Failure to notify Wimberley Getaways staff, if they will be arriving late past 6 PM and cannot find the property or cannot get into the property are not grounds for cancellation.
Unauthorized Guests: Wimberley Getaways properties each contain a strict maximum occupancy. (Maximum occupancy is the number of renters registered or the number the property sleeps.)All guests must be registered. Wimberley Getaways does not allow the use of air mattress’s in any of our properties, evidence will result in a $25 fee per night. Should there be unregistered guests at the property, at any time, for any length of time without prior approval, you will be asked to leave and forfeit the remainder of your reservation. No monies will be refunded. No parties, day guest or events are permitted at any of our properties without written approval.
Pets are only permitted in designated pet friendly properties with pre-arranged reservations. The Pet policy will be clearly stated on each property page if applicable. Evidence of pets in a non-pet friendly property will result in additional fees.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of our rental properties. Smoking outside is OK if all cigarette butts and debris are cleaned up completely before time of checkout. If cigarette butts or debris are left at the property, you will be subject to an additional cleaning fee.
Hot Tub and Swimming Pools: Before entering the Hot Tub please shower to remove any body oils and lotions as they will leave a ring. If a ring is left in the hot tub a $25 fee will be charged to the card on file. Showering will not remove any type of self-tanning lotions including spa applied spray-on tanning, however they will cause damage to the hot tubs and pools (see Property Damage section). There are times when hot tubs and pools are temporarily closed for cleaning, maintenance and repairs. We appreciate your patience during these times. Use of any water form is AT YOUR OWN RISK, including but not limited to pools, hot tubs or creeks.
Injuries: Renters assume all risk of any injury to self and or their guests. Renters and their guests agree to hold property owner and Wimberley Getaways harmless for all injuries incurred while on Wimberley Getaways premises, regardless of the extent of injuries sustained.
Lost and Found: Wimberley Getaways is not responsible for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. If you feel that you may have left an item behind, please call us. For a $15 trip charge one of our associates will go to the property and search for the items parenthesis around the s in item’s. If the item’s is found, we will ship it to you via UPS at your cost. All items not called about within one week will be donated locally.
